Identipark
Musgrave Centre has become the first shopping centre in KwaZulu Natal to introduce IdentiPark, an intelligent parking guidance system for visitors.
The IdentiParksystem, developed by Nortech International, uses state-of-the-art technology which co-ordinates vehicle movement within the parking facility. Using real-time information on occupancy, drivers are directed to available parking spaces by intersection guidance displays and colour-coded LED lights green for available, red for occupied, orange for reserved and blue for disabled placed above every parking bay.
IdentiPark has been called "the GPS of the parking world" and for good reason: just as the most up-to-date technology in a GPS can direct and guide you along the most convenient route to your chosen destination so too does IdentiPark direct and guide you to the most convenient available parking space in Musgrave Centre.
Automatically adjusting to ambient light conditions, the IdentiPark system effectively runs off a low power base, in line with the commitment by Old Mutual Property to reduce energy consumption across its managed properties.
